Far North Tour part 1
Our first trip after delivery started 20 June 2021 with an overnight stop at Ruakaka Motorcamp.
From there itwas 4 nights at Parua Bay - our first experience and so far our last of being stuck on wet grass. Continuing, we went to Kowharewa freedom Camp before finding Whangaumu (Wellingtons Bay) which has become among our favourite stops on the Tutukaka Coast. Other overnight stops included Matapouri, and Tutukaka Motor Camp.
Whananaki, then Reyburn House Lane - another destination we enjoyed based on the river in the Centre of Whangarei.
Paihia RSA in the Bay of Islands before stopping at Kelvin Petrie's home (AC Volunteer), then back to Opua Marina - and dinner at the Yacht Club with Jon Lee - our list of favourites is beginning to build.
In Kaitaia we stayed at Patricia's before heading back south to Kai Iwi lakes and Port Albert.
Back in Auckland 12 July.
